A Youth - Led Independent Pan African Youth Network
African Youth Commission (AYC) is an independent Pan-African Youth Network founded by youth leaders to foster synergy amongst youth and youth organisations on the African continent and Diaspora, influence policy and galvanise meaningful youth engagement.
AYC facilitates the collective participation and engagement of young people in official, formal and informal avenues of policy design, implementation, monitoring, follow-up, and review at all levels.
AYC consolidates youth voices through grassroots organisations linkages to build a strong youth movement on the continent through our national consortium platforms.
Impactful youth engagement recognises and seeks to change the power structures that prevent young people from being considers as key stakeholders and drivers o f their own needs and priorities.

What does African Youth Commission do?
The African Youth Commission provides a space for youth-led and youth-serving organisations on the African Continent and the Diaspora to consolidate their voices to influence policies and decision making, set and drive their own agenda in an inclusive way.
To ensure that we deliver on the demands of our constituency, we have mapped out various strategies that we employ through advocacy campaigns on different regional and global processes to secure the much desired meaningful youth inclusion and participation.

We are Constantly looking for partnerships, collaborations and creating synergies with youth organisations and structures at grassroots, national to regional levels.</p> <p>At National Level, We organise our engagement through National Consortium structures where all member organisations will come together to implement local led actions.
The mission of the AYC is to unite African youth in action for the promotion of African unity and development.
